The present conference volume assembles 20 contributions on Hittite literature delivered 2010.

Relations of Hittite and Greek culture are dealt with by J.L. Garcia Ramon, I. Rutherford and K. Strobel.

The topics dealt with are manyfold, many concentrate on rituals: Funerary rituals and the Hutushi magical ritual are examined

as well as the role of myth and ritual in the Illuyanka text and the technical terminology of Hittite rituals.

Further studies focus on the Hittite reception of the Mesopotamian Sagas of Akkadian Kings

and literary texts on a god vanished out of anger, to name just a few.
